Join Arachna of the Spider People and her cranial cavitied cohort Deadly for the 1963 low low bidget horror film THE ATOMIC BRAIN on this week’s Beware Theater.  Also known as Monstrosity, it’s the tale of a nasty old rich woman hiring a questionable scientist to transplant her brain into one of her beautiful female employees so she can live on in a younger body. Things don’t quite go as planned. There’s body-snatching, double-crossing, strip searches and a nuclear reactor cyclotron – plus the usual bad acting, bad directing, cheezy special effects and a lame plot. A film that started filming in 1958, went broke, found some dough, and finally got released in 1963!  It’s so bad it’s good!  Arachna takes Deadly to the Brain Exchange to get a new hunk of gray matter.
