VALENTINE’S WEEK CONTINUES WITH A CLASSIC LOVE TRIANGLE – A BOY, A GIRL, AND A PLANT – ON THIS WEEK’S BEWARE THEATER!!!
St. Valentine’s Week is in full swing here at Beta Max TV! And today we’ve got two of the Valentine staples – Love and Flowers – as Arachna and her captivatingly calcified companion, Deadly, host the Beware Theater presentation of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (1960). This Roger Corman directed low-budget classic stars Johathan Haze as Seymour Krelboyne – a dim-witted florist shop worker raising a special plant he calls Audrey Jr., named after co-worker and apple of his eye Audrey Fulquard (Jackie Joseph). It’s a strange flower shop with strange customers but things get even stranger when Audrey Jr. starts to talk and reveals it needs blood to thrive! Watch for Jack Nicholson in a small role as a masochistic dental patient.
Arachna and Deadly also find themselves surrounded by flowers as they ride on a float in the Rose Parade. Unfortunately, a rather large Audrey Jr. also shares the float with our hosts!
Boy meets plant, boy meets girl, plant eats boy. Is this the way love works? Find out this week with Arachna and Deadly on Beware Theater as Valentine’s Week continues on your home for B-movies…and strange love triangles! Beta Max TV!!!
