When you shrink an astronaut, does he become an astronette? Or perhaps an astronit? When a strange asteroid enters our solar system, a rocket is sent to investigate. One of the 2 astronauts gets croaked on the way but the other lands to make a big discovery – or perhaps a little discovery. He finds the asteroid is self-propelled and inhabited by a race of tiny humanoids. And when exposed to their atmosphere, he too becomes tiny. There’s also the dreaded, deadly, and very ugly creature called the Solarite (played by Richard Kiel).
